Although FreeBSD can be installed in multiboot, NomadBSD requires full use of the HDD so you’ll cannot install it on a partition. See nomadBSD install on HDD - #5 by mario

Untested and trickily:

  • Install FreeBSD in the slice and test that multiboot works.

  • Install NomadBSD onto an USB stick, you need 2 sticks.

  • Install https://github.com/JRGTH/bemanager in both installations.

  • With bemanager backup the boot environment of NomadBSD and restore it in the FreeBSD installation.

  • Boot with the restored NomadBSD Boot Environment.

I’m sorry. Your system installed on ZFS?

Yes.
