141R is available here: Index of /download (at the bottom) I don’t know why it hasn’t been announced in the homepage though. Maybe it’s a beta.

I did an upgrade to and was able to get to p6.

hw.snd.default_auto: 1
But if I try to put it at 1 I got this error :
sysctl: hw.snd.default_unit=1: Invalid argument
Add to /etc/sysctl.conf
sysctl hw.snd.default_unit=1
Add to /boot/loader.conf:
snd_audio_load="YES"

That’s strange we almost have the same generation apart that mine is i5 but it is also a 12th gen…
And you have your sound working?
The sound works at very low volume, the same happens to me with a Dell with Ryzen 7.
We haven’t announced it yet beacuse we still wait for the mirrors to sync with our master.

Another thing: If you use freebsd-update to upgrade to 14.1-RELEASE, you get FreeBSD 14.1 but not NomadBSD 14.1.
You need to download the new NomadBSD and write it to a USB drive. Unfortunately the upgrade program to update NomadBSD itself is not finished, yet.

That’s what I got, if I connect my external monitor where I got the sound it is all working great, my issue is my embedded speakers and mics not recognized
