Sometimes after a reboot the network icon in the upper right corner shows only a small x. If I click on it and select Enable WiFi 1 the display remains a small x. If I hover over it … it tells me No network card enabled … but it most certainly is because I have internet access. Any thoughts on why that is happening or how to correct it ?
I would try to restart the network service with
sudo service netif restart
to test if the network manager will show the correct state then.
