Just a quick question

When I use dd on my linux system to put the latest NomadBSD on a flash drive, will it use the whole drive and not just the amount of space it takes up once it’s put on the drive?

I’ve got a 64GB flash drive and I’d like to be able to use all of it, so that the persistance doesn’t run out of space (this latest/newest version IS persistant, correct?).

If I’m not mistaken, when NomadBSD configures, it sets up the file system to use the entire USB drive.

That sounds like all I needed to know then. I’ll give it a shot and see what happens.

Thanks!

yochanon,

I failed to confirm that the latest version of NomadBSD is persistent. It is. Look on the home page of NomadBSD.
