HP Boot Loader stop

Not able to boot using NomadBSD 1.3(i386) or 1.3.2(i386) image on HP.

Environment: HP Elitebook 820 G1, SanDisk Ultra Trek 32GB 3.0 USB.

Bios set to Legacy, NO Secure Boot, Bios L71 ver 1.49
Rufus 3.11

Get following:

BTX loader 1.0 BTX version is 1.02
Consoles: internal video/keyboard
BIOS drive C: is disk0
BIOS drive D: is disk1
|

This same USB stick boots all the way to the NomadBSD desktop on a Dell

NOTE: Using the same HP and FreeBSD-9.2-RELEASE-i386-memstick.img works fine.
NOTE: Noticed that Windows recognizes USB to only have 3.29GB partitioned and 27GB unpartitioned

Hi @greyulv,

if I remember correctly, someone had a similar problem with a HP system. He found out that switching from AHCI to IDE in the BIOS fixed the boot problem.

@mk1 That was it…responding from within NomadBSD.
