How can I replace the openbox pre configured DE on Nomadbsd-130R with XFCE instead?

You can install xfce just like you would install it on FreeBSD:
pkg install xfce

Some of Xfce modules and apps are already housed and live here in NomadBSD. The full v4.16 package is ready to download and install by OctoPkg, too.

Assuming you’re running the bash shell, type:

user@pc ~ $ pkg install xfce xfce4-goodies
user@pc ~ $ sudo !!
