Hello,
the ‘NomadBSD Installer’ does not recreate geli-encryption when installing to SSD/HDD - neither using UFS or ZFS.
It would be nice with some text stating this on one of the screens in the installer.
It would be even nicer if the installer got the feature to recreate geli-encryption when installing, but it is probably not the most requested feature.
