Count your computer in the hardware database

Guys,

Let’s contribute to new-gen database of BSD-compatible hardware: https://bsd-hardware.info/

Since hardware compatibility is not 100% perfect, we’ll be able to choose compatible configurations and parts to run NomadBSD/FreeBSD with the help of this database.

You can setup a USB stick with NomadBSD easily and probe all the computers around quickly with the help of this manual.

wish it wasn’t made in perl.

This is just a DB for peple choose HW and computers that are known to be supported it doesn’t fix the issue of poor companies not willing to provide docs or drivers. A push to have companies support the BSD’s would be better however this is a start.

I’ve already done that, on Linux / EndeavorOS / Arch and on FreeBSD as well.
