Hello
What is the tool that controls color gamma and brightness in Nomad? Is it an openbox feature ? Can i install it as a pkg or build from ports?

Hi @Geo,

there are two tools we use in NomadBSD that (can) change gamma and brightness:

  1. redshift which is automatically started when you log in.
  2. DSBDisplaySettings (not in the FreeBSD ports (yet))

The tool brightness_listener shows the current brightness level in the upper right corner when you change the brightness via a Fn key combination.
