Chkrootkit shows infected files on new installation

I ran chkrootkit 0.53 on the new nomadBSD 1.3.1 and it said the system commands “chfn” and “chsh” are infected by a rootkit.

Chkrootkit was installed by “pkg install chkrootkit”, is it a bug?

I am sure its not possitive that program is giving you false positives. However I am sure the maintainer of the port would be interested to see why this is giving you false positives. Nothing is ever perfect. However this is the wrong place to ask for help regarding a port.
