A Linux user since 1999 , i see now freebsd as the linux of 2000s
I’m a free-software fanatic , i know programming i build websites and want freebsd to focus on what i need to do and learn and stop losing my time with games and proprietary software, also i like to start learning something new.
I’m testing/learning freebsd about one year now i made several installations and it feels very stable and fast system.
So i’m learning some more to make it my daily driver , not that i feel confident i will not miss some software linux has but there are opensource/freesoftware applications on freebsd that can make the job done. This is one other reason i want to move from linux its more mainstream these days and proprietary software is a big temptation and linux started having much proprietary software.
