I am at best a para-geek…

A Linux user since 1998 when support was abysmal. Then things got a whole lot better. Started out using Redhat 9, then Xandros OS, Mandrake,SuSE , Ubuntu and then its offspring Linux Mint.
For a time I was seduced by Mac OS X, which after all is a certified UNIX-, albeit a UNIX that hides itself away …in shame.I came to FreeBSD because I wanted to use something that captures the spirit of UNIX/Bell Labs…perhaps this is my imagination running away…into a kind of cyber-insanity.
…or I just like the discipline of learning. There`s plenty of that in using FreeBSD.
