I wanted to test the suspension of the system, but now it no longer restarts, and even by turning the power button off and on again nothing happens. Possible? Thanks for any suggestion!

I solved it by removing the pc battery. After reinserting it, the pc rebooted. I guess I won’t try to test the suspension anymore!

How much Ram do you have and how big of a swap do you have? Suspend copy’s contents of ram to disk. So if you current ram is 16GB and you only have a 8GB swap your pc will freeze.
Suspend and resume is not supported when you boot the live system.
On resuming the kernel fails to re-initialize the USB bus in time, so it cannot find the USB drive.
You might have better luck when you install NomadBSD to the internal hard drive.
