I have noticed that under “Properties”-“Permissions” several of my applications list: Charlie Root (root) as being the owner. What doe this actually mean ? Is there a way to assume ownership of an application showing this ?
Charly Root is just a description for root.
These apps are owned by root. It is not a good idea to change the ownership because it can harm the whole system and you can get into much trouble.
